Fees & Insurance

This practice accepts self-pay clients and is also an in-network provider with most commercial Aetna plans. We are happy to submit claims on your behalf for any in-network insurance plans.

For all out-of-network insurance plans, we are able to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider. We are happy to answer any questions regarding out-of-network insurance and submitting superbills.

We accept major credit cards and Zelle.​

PLEASE NOTE: Medi-cal versions of these plans are not currently covered.

Checking Insurance Coverage

Clients are responsible for checking their individual benefits. Before scheduling, please follow these steps.

1.) Please call the member services number on the back of your card.  Remember to get the name of the representative you spoke with and ask for a call reference number. Ask these questions:

​

  •  Is Deborah Odell, LMFT, NPI# 1841532736 considered in-network?

  •  For individual therapy -  Does my plan cover outpatient individual psychotherapy under CPT codes 90791, 90837, 90834, 90832?

  •  For couples & family therapy - Does my plan cover outpatient family psychotherapy under CPT codes 90791, 90846, 90847?

  •  Is there a session visit limit? If so, how many sessions are covered per year?

  •  Do I have a deductible to meet before my plan will pay out my visits? If so, what is the deductible amount? What is the remaining balance?

  •  Are there any limitations on telehealth sessions or a specific telehealth deductible?

  •  Is there a copay or coinsurance? If so what is the amount?

   

2.) Once you've verified your insurance coverage, provide the information to the therapist via secure text or email, and upload copies of the front and back of your card to your EHR(Electronic Health Record) profile.

Out of Network Benefits: Mentaya 

We've partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Workshops & Events

Workshop costs will be calculated based on cost of materials, time for preparation and facilitation, and mileage. 

Please contact me with your desired workshop including time and date, theme, estimated number of participants, desired activities and materials, and information about the venue and space (photos are very helpful!)
